My Project

This school year I am so lucky to have a classroom full of excited and enthusiastic kindergarteners! Everyday they look forward to learning what we will be working on in the classroom! Morning meeting is a time for us to come together at the rug, classroom family style, and be exposed to skills that will help us be successful during the school day. Each day we start our morning with a little piece of social emotional learning at morning meeting! Social emotional learning is a fundamental component in the developmental growth of young learners.

Having these "learning spot" materials will expose my students through literacy, visual components, activities, and conversations to the emotions, feelings, and challenges students face throughout their young lives and how to appropriately manage these using positive growth mindsets and skills.
