My Project

My goal is to create an inviting counseling office space that allows students to feel comfortable talking about their lives and their feelings. Having relevant and engaging resources will allow me to help students navigate the crazy world of emotions and emotional expression.

Having various activity workbooks will allow me to select appropriate activities for each individual student.

Since students all learn and understand concepts differently, having varying resources on similar topics will allow me to tailor what to use for each student in a way that ensures they will be the most successful in counseling.

My district is a small district, where everyone knows everyone, and everyone supports everyone. My students tend to experience a lot of hardships and then struggle with managing all that those hardships entail; however, my students almost always have a smile on their faces and are ready to give a big bear hug.

Any support and assistance would be beyond appreciated, and I know it would greatly benefit the students that I work with.
