Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a class of 33 amazing 5th grade students! At this age, the students are going through a lot of changes emotionally and physically. The students need to be taught ways to manage the emotions that they feel.

I want to supply my students with methods to regulate their emotions in an effective way.

I have found many great social emotional learning resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that would be very beneficial for my students. These resources are presentations, worksheets, and activities that provide students with positive ways to manage their emotions. This project will allow me to purchase these resources.

Additionally, I have a classroom reward system in my classroom. This is a positive reinforcement system that rewards students for behavior. The students can earn prizes for managing their behavior in effective ways. This project will provide my class with some prizes for this system.
