Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very social creatures and since COVID teaching is still in the back of their minds, they crave warm, inviting spaces to learn in. Many of my students were at-home learners that spent way too many weeks inside without friends.

They come to school now still nervous about getting sick but also thankful that they have friends around them that they can start making new memories.

I will continue to strive for amazing areas in the classroom to bring fun, exciting memories for my kids to replace the old memories.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
