This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Social and emotional learning is essential for student success. The library kits will feature a book or two, an activity, and a coping skill to practice. The activity will give students the opportunity to be creative and learn a new skill.

Students will be able to take kits home and share the skills they are learning with their family.

The goal of this project is to engage students and their guardians in social and emotional learning. Parents will be better able to support students if they are aware of what the student is learning and can practice it with them.
