My students need blue and green pinnies to wear while playing soccer to avoid conflicts in the game and to promote school spirit. Hawks Soar!
Our students come from a low socioeconomic area and love the game of soccer. We see success in the classroom from the same students playing soccer. These pinnies would promote sportsmanship and eliminate most problems on the field
My students are amazing kids.
They live in an area of Washington that has high levels of gang involvement and high poverty rates yet you wouldn't know it given their abilities. They are extremely hard working and understand that they control their future. I enjoy working with them and feel they need this tool to be successful outside at recess.
The pinnies I'm requesting are essential for eliminating fights and conflicts at recess about teams and scores. It would promote team unity while also building school spirit. I believe it can really help them succeed in a healthy activity when not in my classroom.
These pinnies prevent fights.
They would prevent conflict and instead show the kids how to be physically active in a safe setting. They would show team unity and help foster an active lifestyle.
