Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are 99% low socioeconomic children who give the best they can give. Our school is located in a poverty area where students take pride in their everyday achievements. Students take advantage of what they are learning and try to apply it to everyday life. The majority have limited resources at home and are eager to get to school to use what they need. Our students are excited to be joining a team sport. They love to learn and share what they have learned.

My Project

Our school has decided to join a soccer league. The materials we are asking for are to be prepared for next year. We are currently playing two games this month and students are really excited about joining a team. The team consists of females and males from 1st grade through 3rd grade. We are asking for soccer balls, soccer socks, and DSG 20 Youth Ocala Soccer Shin Guards to help protect our players. We are excited that our students are joining a sport and to keep them healthy. We want to have fun and win lots of games.
