Students' eyes lit up the moment they saw the prize table—there were cheers, big smiles, and even a few happy dances. For many of them, having rewards that feel meaningful and special makes a huge difference in how they approach their work and behavior each day.\r\n\r\nWe've already incorporated the prizes into our classroom routines. Students earn points for meeting goals, showing positive behavior, helping peers, and staying engaged. Last week, one of my favorite moments was watching a student who has been working very hard on staying focused proudly trade in their points for a prize. Their excitement—and the encouragement from classmates—was a beautiful reminder of how powerful positive reinforcement can be.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps involve continuing to use these incentives to support goal-setting and personal growth.
