Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of our students love to play different games at recess but our school only has a small equipment selection which leaves many students without a ball or another physical activity to do at recess. This, in turn, causes a build up of energy that ends up coming out during instructional time. This project will give students access to various physical education equipment and give them an opportunity to take responsibility to store and care for the equipment.

This will help students enjoy their outdoor time and get out their energy so they can be more focused and productive in the classroom.

In addition, teachers can use the equipment to teach students various physical education games and teach them sportsmanship.
