My Students

I teach in a public elementary school that emphasizes advanced curriculum.

My class is made up of a diverse population of students that are interested in increasing their knowledge through accelerated academics.

All ethnicities, cultures, and income levels are represented, and all are striving to expand their horizons. These little people with sponge-like minds are motivated, inquisitive, eager learners.

To paraphrase Dr. Seuss:

My students are, on their way up!

They’ll be seeing great sights!

They’ll join the high fliers

Who soar to high heights.

My Project

My student are just starting the learning process in the public school system. Their interests are as varied as their diverse backgrounds. One of the common denominators with my students is that they all have been exposed to computers, from smart phones to desktops.

Through the use of educational apps, students will be able to widen their horizons while learning the basic foundations required by the local board.

Using apps will help to reinforce what the students are learning in the classroom. Students will use classroom Chromebooks to play games, study new subjects, and investigate topics that may interest them. Computers will also enable students become more literate in the use of these tools that are being used more and more in classroom instruction.
