My Project

This project will allow my middle school students with intellectual disabilities start up a coffee business in our school. We will be learning how to interact with others, take orders, make change, fulfill orders and deliver the orders to the staff in our school. These are real life skills that our students will learn to help them with employment in the future. We will use any money made to take community trips to learn even more skills like grocery shopping, ordering in a restaurant, or participating in other community events and to purchase sensory items for our class.
