Help me give my students learn the skill of designing and creating end-grained hardwood cutting boards.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of high school seniors. This is the second year of our exciting Building Trades class. This sander would allow students to design and build end-grained hardwood cutting boards as well as many other amazing projects. A drum sander provides a safe way to make sure the cutting boards are flat and level.

Please help us change the lives of not only our students, but potentially their families.

The project also teaches important math lessons, as well as how to sell a product. It is amazing to see the pride our students take in creating beauty with their hands.
