My Project
Our classroom library is one of the most important features of our second grade classroom. Second grade is a year when students continue working on decoding and comprehension skills while acquiring more complex vocabulary. One of the best ways to accomplish this is through reading!

The classroom library gives children the freedom to select books that interest them. There are many benefits to children selecting books that interest them. One of the benefits is increasing children's interest in reading for fun!
