Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next school year I will be working with students in kindergarten through 2nd grade with intellectual disabilities. A lot of the learning will happen through play. Help me start the year off right making sure my students have what they need in order to have a safe and healthy school year.

Learning is hard when the basic needs of students are not met.

Through this project I will be able to make sure my students have a clean and safe environment while providing the basic necessities such as tissues, hand soap, and wipes to keep desks and hands clean.

Although we are given supply money at the beginning of the year, it doesn't cover all of the supplies needed. Parents try hard to send in supplies but working in a high poverty school sometimes they are unable to; so this is where these supplies will come into help.
