This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a school where 99% of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and 40% are English Learners. These students crave a secure and structured learning environment.

When our students walk into a classroom, they are transported into a new world where anything is possible, and the sky is the limit.

The students are no longer in a disadvantaged neighborhood, but they are in a magical place surrounded by learning, friendship, and unconditional support.

My Project

Students are returning after Christmas break, and we need protection with the new strand of COVID-19. How can students focus on learning if they are worried about germs???

Hand sanitizer and masks are a necessity in our current world situation!

The students are very conscientious about staying safe. With these added materials, you will help them feel more secure and give them the resources to maintain a safe routine. They love being in school, and with these resources, you will provide the necessary materials to help them stay in the classroom.
