Snug As A Bug With A Cozy Classroom Rug!

Help me give my students cozy rugs to keep us comfortable while learning despite a cold tile floor!

My Project

Our current classroom is wall-to-wall carpet but this summer, the carpeting will all be torn out and replaced with tile. Although the tile will be durable and easy to clean, our classroom will not be nearly as warm and cozy as it has been in the past.

A classroom carpet will provide a place where my students and I can gather for new learning and sharing of ideas, all while providing a warm and cozy feeling to our space.

My students are on the floor for so many parts of our day: whole group lessons, listening to read-alouds, playing learning games, writing and reading partner work, block building, and rest time.

These new classroom rugs would give us a warm and comfortable place to learn, play, and rest and provide a calming and engaging place to learn together and be a class family. Thank you for considering supporting our classroom project and giving us the opportunity to "cozy up" for more teachable moments in a comfortable space!
