Snow Much Fun Part 2

My Project

Winter in Iowa can be long and cold.

Each year, I have students who do not have proper winter clothing to make recess an enjoyable experience.

While my school gets many donations of coats, hats, and gloves, we do not get enough snow pants or snow boots. Last year I had three pairs of snow pants and snow boots in my classroom. I had 9 students that did not have these, so they took turns wearing snow pants and boots. They loved it and the giggles, smiles, and excitement they experienced sledding and playing in the snow were priceless. This year, I want to ensure each child has their own set of snow pants and boots. That way every child in my classroom can enjoy the snow at every outdoor recess. My students love to shovel snow and go sledding during recess. Having a set of these will help make recess enjoyable and exciting. Thank you for helping my kindergarten students have SNOW much fun this winter!
