Help me give my students ten sets of Snap Circuits so that each child can use an individual set. These are wonderful for learning the basics of making circuits and electronics.
Our school strives to help students become well-rounded citizens by weaving 21st-century interdisciplinary themes into our curriculum. These themes include global awareness, financial literacy, civic literacy, health literacy, and environmental literacy.
Our students are curious, kind, creative, and hard-working.
We live in a rural part of the state and many of our students have never traveled on a city bus or airplane.
Our aim is to provide all students access to technology, books, and materials that they might not have at home. DonorsChoose and donors like you help us fill in any gaps. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these special children!
My Project
Our students are tomorrow's engineers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. I strive to provide books and makerspace resources so that students can practice essential STEM skills like critical thinking and sequencing.
These Snap Circuit kits will help students understand how science connects to our everyday lives.
Students will be able to make changes to their circuits to immediately see different results.
We have a few of these sets, and the students' faces light up when they make the add-ons work. Their favorite is the spinning top that flies high into the air.
Having ten additional sets of these SnapCircuits will make it so that a whole class can learn basic circuitry. Due to Covid-19, students are not allowed to share kits. It is great to have a few sets of something, but amazing things happen when you can get all groups using the same materials at the same time! They learn from each other as they problem-solve.
Thank you for your help in making magic happen in our Media Center!
