My Students

I teach in an inclusion classroom with an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning the alphabet, how write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a marker. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and sing and dance to songs.

My classroom is about building basic skills to be successful to move into kindergarten.

The students are learning how to follow rules and routines along with building peer relationships.

My Project

These hands on materials and building manipulatives will help improve students fine motor skills along with providing them the opportunity to engage with their peers. They will be able to work on turn taking and sharing skills. Students will also be able to focus on communication skills and using verbal language to communicate with their teachers and peers. As a teacher, I have seen how these manipulatives and materials can positively affect my students growth and hope that the additional options will help students become the best versions of themselves.
