This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having access to snacks during these sessions not only satisfies basic needs but also creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, promoting open communication and collaboration among participants. Eating a healthy snack can help students stay focused, give energy, and keep hunger in check.

When students come to groups, they look forward to having a snack as eating together can help foster a sense of community.

It can help break the ice by giving them something to talk about. "Do you like these?" or "Can you pass me one please?" "These are my favorite!"
