This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ever since the pandemic, families have been struggling financially and cannot give the basic needs to their children. I am asking for snacks for our classroom to help keep my students’ bellies full and their minds focused. Most of my students come to school on an empty stomach because their families cannot afford to feed them. My students also do not come to school with a snack for lunch or snack time. Having snacks in the classroom would mean so much to both my kids and me. I am in a special education self-contained classroom and keeping my students focused can be a huge challenge. Knowing we have snacks for them to keep them focused would mean more than you will ever know. Thank you for any donation possible!
