My Project

Have you ever been Hangry. Hungry and angry at the same time. It is impossible to focus when that happens. Imagine how hard it is for students!

My students seem to be hungry all the time that’s when engagement in learning stops and hangry takes over.

All my scholars receive free lunch and 100% come from impoverished communities so money and resources for food is scarce. They often miss meals, some every day. The provided lunch may be all the eat and it does not fill them up, so they are always in search of snacks. This project has been created to address this need. They will be able to find filling snacks and be happy to grab and go during the school day, discreetly after school, or to eat during daily snack time in class while taking a much needed brain break.
