My Project

The students are is from the Englewood neighborhood which is a poverty stricken area, receive 100% free lunch. We have high population of students that are homeless in the STLS program. Even though the students receive free lunch they are usually still hungry toward the end of the day in need of a snack. Some of them don't eat unless they are at school so they are left hungry. The snacks would allow them to continue to focus on the assignments at hand, keeping them being productive students and not worrying about being hungry.
