Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love snack time, but sometimes they don't always have one to enjoy. Keeping snacks in the room has been one way to make sure all students are able to enjoy snack time without feeling ashamed, left out, or hungry. With Valentine's Day around the corner, I would like to add an additional treat for my students to the snack cart.

Caring for students' needs physically shows them that you care for them whole-heartedly.

I want my students to perform well while they are at school. I don't want simple things to hinder them from doing their best. Providing snacks, like Doritos, Skittles and Taki’s, for times when they just need a little extra boost during the day, will give them the energy they need to keep moving forward. For this project, I am requesting snacks that will be provided as needed. Then on Valentine's Day, all of the students will receive a specials Valentine's gift with their snack. The candy is part of the Valentine's gift. Please join me in helping my students stay on track throughout the day by providing snacks.
