This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach ELA to forty loving, energetic, and enthusiastic 3rd graders. My school is a Title I school, where many students come from low-income families.
I want my students to know they can and will be successful and it’s my mission to provide them with the best educational support.
My students have goals, dreams, and aspirations for this school year. I know that they can accomplish anything, but it is my hope to make sure they have all the needed resources to do that!
My Project
Help me give my students snacks to help promote their learning in school. Students need snacks to remain focused in class. These snacks will help my students be successful in the classroom because they will have brain food. The students eat lunch very early in the morning, therefore, it is hours before the students will have another meal. Having child-sized masks that fit properly in the classroom allows me provide masks for those students in need. The supply of cleaning wipes and disinfecting spray will help reduce the chance of spreading germs this school year.
