Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are unique learners who strive to do their best in spite of the fact that they are faced with economic shortfalls. My students want to do well in each of their educational endeavors. They really deserve the opportunity to advance in their secondary educational goals and objectives. However, their economic needs must be addressed in order for my students to have educational success.

My goal is to keep to help my students eat a healthy snacks by eating snacks in smaller portions over the summer months.

We appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to even consider our project.

My Project

My students need snacks to take home with them during the summer months. We have started a health a wellness program that started in my health class. The program was extended to other classes because the students are inquisitive about the surrounds and how they can get involved. However, we have more than 90% of our students who receive free or reduced-price lunches.

My goal is to send each of my students home for the summer with a healthy snack pack.

The snacks will help the students start their summer with a light​ snack as the start their summer. My students are young willing workers who have the desire to be healthy, and they are young future motivators. They want to continue to eat smarter because they are truly our future leaders of this world.
