Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been a special education teacher for 4 years. As we all know as teachers we always need more cleaning supplies for our classes. We also all know that Lysol wipes are superior than any other disinfectant wipes that are provided to us by our schools.

This year our district has graciously provided each special education classroom with touch screen Chromebooks, but not charging station.

As a special education teacher I know I need to keep the Chromebooks in a safe place or they may get broken. The charging station will ensure that the chrome books in my K-2 special education life skills classroom are safe and not being broken.

Every day we do a daily snack time after students finish their morning work. The district provides snack 2/4 days a week and I am personally providing snack the other days. These snacks will help me kickstart next school year and ensure that my students have snacks.

The toys are going to support my students fine motor development and ensure that students are making progress on their occupational therapy goals of building objects.
