We use the floor chair everyday multiple times a day. I have watched as multiple students that typically lay on their bellies or backs or stay in their wheelchair during circle time are now able to sit supported and engage in learning. We also continue to use the cones, rings, floor dots and other toys for movement times weekly in the classroom and outside. We are so looking forward to installing the swings for outdoor and indoor sensory opportunities, just waiting on district support to assist. They all are in matching uniforms that fit, able to stay hydrated during practices and games with the donated bottles. They also have the safety gear needed to safely participate in the sport such as the mouth guards and face masks. They especially loved the agility training equipment to build up their stamina and coordination. \r\n\r\nThe reaction the athletics had was pure shock and thrill when they realized we were gifted necessities for their sports. They were so appreciative and couldn't say thank you enough and were excited to use the new equipment (they were bringing all the items out the first day to put to use).\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue to build our athletic departments gear, safety items, and equipment.
