My Project

If a child has a snack, he/she may be able to focus better in class and the students' attention won't be focused on being hungry. My students live in impoverished areas of the city. More than 95% of my students receive government assistance. Some students come to school hungry. After teaching for 6 years I understand if a child is hungry he/she may not be able to focus on the lesson that is being taught. Some of my students have to eat at school because food is scarce at home. Hence, I always bring and share snacks with my students. Also, students may not have access to hygeine things. I have students who ask me for hygeine materials all the time. If granted this list will allow me to make my classroom a better environment for learning.
