My Project

We are a Title I school district, meaning our community has a high economic need. I love my students because they come from diverse backgrounds, and I enjoy learning from them just as they enjoy learning from me! Our school is unique because of our diverse staff and student body. Our school district can best be described as one happy family. Thirty-three languages are spoken throughout the district. My students are special because they are immersed in an environment where we teach them academics and how to embrace the diverse student body.

I believe we must nuture the "whole child" if we want to see students succeed in school.

A small snack can make a significant difference in my classroom. Hungry students will be distracted, and the focus will be on an unmet need, hunger, instead of their academics. I am requesting a variety of non perishable snacks for my students so everyone can have a small treat at the end of the day. Additionally, I am requesting water because our students will not have access to the school's water fountains at the moment. Hydration is very important for everyone including students. As always thank you for your support.
