My Project

Over the years, students have come to learn that Ms. Raether's classroom is a comfortable place to learn in. I have been providing snacks for students for the past few years, and I have found that it is a much needed service in our school building. Some students don't have enough food at home, and others simply need a pick-me-up to get them through the day.

Students learn much more effectively and efficiently when they can focus on their schoolwork and not their hunger.

As we reach the end of the school year, focus is paramount. We are completing final projects, essays, and exams, so students need every advantage as they transistion into this demanding time. In the end, my goal is to make sure that students have every chance to succeed, and making sure that they are not hungry is integral to that goal.
