Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A majority of my students are from low-income homes and often struggle to bring in the supplies they need. In addition, my students are special needs students who benefit greatly from visuals and projects that require additional tools that they cannot supply themselves. They always share my enthusiasm and never complain or show their difficulty in dealing with such hardships and I would love to help them out in the best way possible.
I love being able to aid them and supply them with their needs because our students deserve the best.
I teach in Integrated Co-Teaching classrooms as well as Self-Contained Classrooms. Our students progress and show effort when they are given the necessary tools, strategies, and visuals they need to succeed. They often are also hungry throughout the day and need fuel to keep them going! They are funny, energetic, and great students whom just need a push in the right direction to try their best!
My Project
Students need fuel throughout the long school day in order to learn in their best state. Many of our students are not able to afford to bring their own snacks and complain about being hungry throughout the day. No student should be hindered by hunger that Lee wants them from focusing on school work. With these snacks and drinks, students will be able to re-energize after and before lunch in order to effectively focus on the work at hand and not on their hunger. Please help me reach my goal to help our students!
