Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are such bundles of joy! Their smiles are contagious. Each student has their own dietary wants and needs. I plan to provide these snacks during times students are using their communication devices to request/ask for their basic needs to promote independence.

Oftentimes, families have a hard time providing their students with meals let alone snacks to help them function throughout the day.

However, it is hard to provide snacks a teacher for an entire classroom.

Snacks ensure that their needs are met and can help them process the academics and life skills we are targeting.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
