My Project

My students know they can come to my room at any time and ask for a snack. By providing snacks to my students, I have seen a tremendous increase in their effort and in the quality of their work. Many quality relationships have been built in my classroom while eating snacks. Full stomachs have helped many students who struggle to focus and pay attention in school, to be successful throughout the day!

Goldfish, granola bars, and pop tarts are some of their favorites!

These snacks will go directly to my high school students and help them to stay full, healthy and focused throughout the day. I will be able to give students snacks during the day, at after school tutoring and to take home.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
