Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are simply wonderful! More than three-quarters of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. In our building, 63% are of Hispanic descent and most are bilingual, 14% are African American, 22% are white, and less than 1% are Asian.

One hundred percent of my students are hard workers who believe in the growth mindset.

They are very special students who would benefit from a very special place.

My Project

This project is to create a snack cabinet for my students. We use snacks in the classroom for many reasons. This project will ensure that I have enough snacks to give my students for the remainder of this year.

Students appreciate snacks for incentives, rewards, and just when they are hungry.

This project will provide enough snacks for students in multiple grade levels. Their basic needs and well-being come before academics. After all, they are kids before they are students. Please consider this project and fill my students' tummies with an afternoon snack!
