My Project

The specific items I’m requesting, such as healthy snacks like granola bars, fruit, and crackers, will make a significant difference in my students' learning by addressing one of the most basic but crucial needs: proper nutrition. Many of my students come from low-income households where access to snacks throughout the day can be limited. Providing these items will help ensure that no student has to focus on hunger during class, allowing them to direct their energy and attention toward their studies instead.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where students feel supported not just academically but also emotionally and physically.

By providing these snacks, I aim to help students stay energized and focused, especially during long hours or difficult subjects. I also hope to foster a sense of care and community in the classroom, where students know they are being supported beyond just their academic needs.

What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn despite the challenges they may face outside of school. They come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and experiences into the classroom. They are hardworking and full of potential, and by providing these snacks, I want to help remove barriers so they can truly shine in their learning journey.
