This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come to school and class hungry. This hinders their ability to concentrate during the lesson as they need something to eat. Having snacks in the classroom allows me to meet my students' needs.

These snacks go into a classroom pantry.

Any student has the opportunity to get snacks throughout the day. I give to my students during their class period. For other students, I hand out snacks in-between classes and during the lunch period.

Having snacks on-hand keeps the students where they need to be, in the classroom learning.
