Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year, I am teaching a group of underprivileged kindergarten students. Our student population comes from a community where 93% are low-income minorities. Some families don't have the means to send their students to school with snacks to ensure they don't go hungry throughout the school day. Since our lunch is early in the morning, the gap from lunch to the end of the school day is long, and students tend to go hungry.

These snacks will allow students to keep their bellies full so they can focus on learning rather than hunger!

By helping fund this project, you are giving a group of kindergarten students something to eat when they are feeling hungry. After all, no child should go hungry!
