Snacks For Hard Working 3rd Graders

Help me give my students snacks for our long afternoon of learning. I would love to be able to provide them with a small snack to make it through the afternoon.

My Students

I work with an extremely hardworking group of Third-grade students. They come to school ready to go at 9:00 the morning and give me 100% effort until 4:00 in the afternoon.

We have grown into a tight family and would do anything for each other.

We have spent a lot of time discussing how we would like to be treated and how we should treat each other and, because of this, we have created a strong culture of learning. They have really worked hard so far to be a cohesive group.

My Project

I have a hard working group of 3rd graders that work hard from the time they get there until the time they leave. Many of them come to school with little or no breakfast and rely on school lunches for their midday meal. By afternoon they are really hungry.

Full tummies help the brain process and retain information.

By helping us with snacks I am able to give my kids a small afternoon snack to help them make it through our long afternoon of learning.I also like to give small treats for those students who go and above academic learning.
