Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a special needs program, servicing students with emotional disturbance, learning disabilities, attentional difficulties, and autism. Additionally, many of my kids live in impoverished communities. Despite these challenges, my students come to school every day, ready and willing to work.

My students need a variety of snacks to stay fueled throughout the school day.

These wonderful kids are offered free breakfast and lunch, but also require other food items to sustain them. I work with a lot of students from immigrant families who rely on our school to keep their children fed. Thank you so much for contributing to our project proposal.
