Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to get snacks for my 1st grade scholars. Many of my students usually don't have a snack everyday during snack time, often I hear "I don't have my snack because my parents don't have any snack for me." As their teacher I try my best to have snack for them but sometimes it's not enough. To be able to have them readily available in the classroom would be a great help. I know how hard it is to work and function on an empty stomach so I can imagine how some of my scholars feel when they don't have any snack. I am looking to get Goldfish, apple sauces and other snacks that I know my scholars enjoy. Having snacks will help my scholars maintain their focus between lunch time and dismissal due to our long schedule. Thank you for supporting my scholars.
