Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We had a flood in our basement and all of our things had to be thrown out including my teacher chair. I am interventionist and take small groups all day, so I sit at my chair the majority of the day doing math and reading with my students so it’s important to have a comfortable chair to sit in while doing so. As well as using the chair for an incentive for PBIs, students love sitting at the teacher chair, so using it as an award for positive behavior would make running small groups so much more manageable with better behaviors. The snacks are for an afterschool tutoring club I run 3 days a week, this would give them a snack to have right after school before we get to studying math.
