My Project

Our lunch schedule runs from 10:05-1:30 and this means that students have a lot of learning time before or after lunch depending on their grade level. Hunger during that time can be a huge barrier to learning. It is hard to focus on an empty stomach! Our teachers across K-5 schedule time for students to eat a quick snack to stay focused for academic time, but some families in our large school cannot provide these snacks.

Please help our students meet their basic needs so they can be focused and ready to learn without feeling hungry.

These snacks, including crackers, chips, pretzels, and granola bars will help students focus and be successful all day long. Students look forward to snacks and are so thankful to have these available when needed! We also use the bags to help share these snacks with students discreetly.
