Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each of my students deserve to have access to materials needed at home. In this project I have selected materials that will help my students have materials they need to be successful both inside the classroom and outside of the classroom at home.

In this project there are snacks for the students.

Some of my students do not have access to food at home. Having these available in the classroom will allow them to know they can take a snack home when needed and always come to school knowing a snack is available when needed. There is also ink in this project. The ink is to help me able to send letters home to parents telling them about the snacks available. The ink will also be used to create learning resources for the students to take home to continue their learning outside of the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
