Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Testing season can be a stressful time for many of my students. While they work hard to show what they know, anxiety, hunger, and lack of focus can sometimes get in the way of their success. I want to create a supportive environment where every student feels calm, comfortable, and ready to do their best.

With this project, I am requesting snacks and calming fidgets to help my students stay focused and confident during testing.

Simple items like granola bars, crackers, and juice, can make a big difference for students who may come to school hungry or need a quick boost of energy. At the same time, calming tools such as stress balls, fidget items, and sensory supports can help reduce anxiety and improve concentration.

These resources are especially important for students who experience test anxiety or need additional support to stay regulated. By meeting both their physical and emotional needs, I can help create a positive testing experience where students feel safe, supported, and empowered.

My goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to focus, persevere, and truly show what they have learned. With your support, we can turn testing days into moments of confidence, growth, and success.
