My Project

My amazing students with disabilities attend a special day school for students with disabilities. We are a Positive Behavior Interventions and Support school which means that we focus on reinforcing the positive behaviors in the hopes of replacing negative behaviors.

We are requesting a variety of snacks and drinks to encourage our students to make positive choices and come to school every day.

Many of them come from impoverished homes, and almost all are on free lunch due to their socio-economic status. They often come to school hungry, so snacks are a great reinforcer.

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
