My Students

I teach fourth grade at a wonderful Title I school. My students arrive each day with smiles on their faces, ready to take on the day. They have a deep desire to learn. Their excitement for learning is contagious and creates such positive energy in my classroom.

I strive to provide as many engaging activities as possible to nurture their curiosity.

I have 13 girls and 12 boys in my class. They enjoy multiple opportunities to learn new subjects.

I learn as much from my students as they learn from me.

My Project

We all know that rewards help to motivate students to try their best. These snacks will be used as rewards to snack on during our reading or math times. Providing healthy snacks is for students that need encouragement or a little push to help them stay motivated will help them be successful.

Every child should be provided with what they need to come to school ready to learn.

Unfortunately, some of my students come to school late and miss breakfast.

The items requested in this project will help my students meet their basic needs and let them focus on what we are learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
