Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I serve a total of 58 students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. My students come from 5 different native countries and speak 3 different languages. Despite these differences, my students all come to school ready to learn each and every day.
In the months of February and March my students will sit for high-stakes middle of the year exams.
This project has been written to provide my students with snacks for each day of testing as well as mints and gum to chew during the test and small treats as testing motivation.
When funded, this project will help to ensure that my students are fueled for each day of the middle of the year exams, engaged in their work and motivated to do their best. Thank you for considering the impact of this project!
