Today's kids are not being raised to sit in one place for long periods of time. Who am I kidding? I am not prepared to sit in one place for hours upon hours either! Flexible seating allows my students the opportunity to connect the body with the brain. While obtaining new information, my students can rock back and forth, bounce in place, or even push a band with their legs. These tools will help ALL of my learners, especially students with higher needs such as ADHD, ADD and Autism, and more. Flexible seating is a win for teachers and students alike.
