Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love my students for their enthusiasm, resilience, and the unique perspectives they bring to the classroom every day. Many of my students face challenges outside the classroom, and hunger can often prevent them from fully focusing on their learning. The resources I am requesting for various snack packs such as cookies, granola bars, fruit gummies, and allergy-friendly options will provide them with the energy and nourishment they need to stay focused, participate actively, and succeed in their studies.
By having access to these snacks, students can refuel during breaks, eliminating the distraction of hunger and allowing them to concentrate on their schoolwork.
The goal of this project is to ensure that every student has access to healthy, satisfying snacks that keep them energized throughout the school day, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
What makes my students special is their ability to overcome adversity and still strive for success in the classroom. They are hardworking, creative, and determined to make the most of their education, and providing them with the resources they need to thrive academically is something I deeply care about.
